Applications for the Mobile County CDBG Roof Replacement Program will be available for pick-up at the Habitat office starting Monday, January 13, 2025.

We will begin accepting applications Wednesday, January 29, 2025

***Please note that if accepted, applicant must be able to pay 10% of the total cost of the project BEFORE the project begins***

​   QUALIFICATIONS:

​

  • Home must be located within Mobile County, but CAN NOT be located within the city limits of Mobile or the Town of Dauphin Island. Properties located within a FEMA Special Flood Hazard Area are NOT eligible to receive assistance through this program.

  • Applicant must be listed on the Deed and must live in the home. If you have a judgement or lien on your property you will not qualify for this program.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen(s) or Qualified Aliens

​

  • Your family’s GROSS income must fall in the HUD guidelines based on the number in your family.  All income for household members over the age of 18 will be considered.​​​

Program funding is limited to approximately 9 projects and is on a "first come first served" basis.

Having built and renovated over 325 homes throughout Mobile, Clarke and Washington Counties, HFHSWA seeks ways to positively impact the community through our Homeownership Program, our Critical Repair Programs and our Veteran’s Repair.
